Who runs this website?

MagiciansInDubai.com is a booking service for magicians, based in Dubai Marina. Every enquiry and booking made here is handled by our booking team in Dubai.

How do I check if a magician is free on my date?

Send the date, the venue, the type of event and who the guests are on WhatsApp or through the quote form. The team checks who is free and replies with options.

Can I choose the magician?

Yes. You get profiles and performance videos of the magicians who suit your event and are free, and you choose.

What is the difference between close-up and stage magic?

Close-up magic happens among the guests, for a few people at a time. Stage magic is a show for a seated audience, with bigger props and volunteers.

What is a mentalist?

A performer who seems to read minds and predict choices. It suits adults and corporate audiences.

How long does a magic show last?

Short shows usually last 20 to 30 minutes. A full stage show can run an hour or more. A close-up magician can stroll for a few hours. Kids shows usually run 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

How much space does a magician need?

Almost none for close-up magic. About 3 by 3 metres of clear floor with a wall behind for a kids show. A stage or clear area for a stage show.

Does the magician bring sound?

For kids shows, a portable speaker and microphone are usually included. For a stage show in a large room, use the venue's sound and microphone.

Can the magician perform in Arabic?

Yes. Bilingual magicians who perform in English and Arabic can be booked.

Can I book a female magician?

Yes. Female stage magicians can be booked for a short feature act or a full show.

Do I need a permit?

Not for a private party at a home, villa or private hall. Public or ticketed events can need a Dubai DET entertainment permit, which the venue or organiser usually handles.

How much does it cost?

A kids magic show usually costs AED 1,200 to AED 3,500, and close-up magic for 60 to 90 minutes usually costs AED 2,000 to AED 3,000. Stage, mentalism and corporate shows are quoted per event. The prices page explains each factor.
